We just got back from the Atlantic City Beer Pong Championship, where we were the table sponsors. Wow, what an incredible event! 170 teams competed at the Resorts Hotel and Casino for $25,000. In the end “Smashing Time” teammates Mike Popielarski and Ron Hamilton walked away with the Prize. These guys have a history of wins, and recently took $50,000 at a tournament in Vegas. They are so good that they are actually career beer pong players. Yes, beer pong is their job. Amazing!

Monday, May 11th, 2009This June 11, 12 & 13th, BJ’s Beer Pong will be the official beer pong table sponsor for the Atlantic City Beer Pong Championship. This three day tournament will be held at the swanky Resorts Hotel and Casino, where hundreds of players will stay and compete for $25,000 in prize money. The top 5 teams will be awarded with cash and the top 10 teams will receive prizes. Beer pong players from around the country that have competed and won in a qualifier or registered for the event will have the opportunity to play other beer pong enthusiasts while partying it up at the casino. Needless to say, this is going to be an incredible weekend.
This event will lend legitimacy to the sport (yes we said sport) of beer pong, and is comparable to the world series of poker, for pong players.
